GUEST MOBILITY TICKETSTAY CONNECTED WHILE YOU’RE ON HOLIDAY!
From 1 May 2025, as a guest, you can use all Salzburg Verkehrs public transport services free of charge.
If you are staying in Obertauern, Untertauern or Tweng, you will be provided with a Guest Mobility Ticket free of charge for the duration of your stay. This allows you to use all Salzburg Verkehrs public transport services throughout your stay.
The Guest Mobility Ticket allows you to get around easily, comfortably and sustainably at no extra cost. Whether it’s a city or regional bus, S-Bahn, regional or long-distance train, or a Salzburg Verkehrs shuttle – with your ticket, you can travel flexibly and free of charge throughout the SalzburgerLand.
This scheme is currently in a trial phase from 1 May 2025 to 30 April 2027. This means you can enjoy your stay in Obertauern even more relaxedly whilst travelling in an environmentally friendly way.
The tourist tax is €3.50 per person per night for those aged 15 and over. In addition, a mobility contribution of €0.50 per person per night is charged.
How do you get your ticket?
Your Guest Mobility Ticket is issued directly when you check in at your accommodation. You can choose to receive it as a printout, a PDF or a digital version for your mobile wallet. No additional app installation is required to use it.

Our apartments are located in the middle of the pass summit of Obertauern, directly at the B99 (Katschbergbundesstraße), and are easy to reach by car, bus, taxi or shuttles.
